WOW. Tree Dahlia. Is this an...ANNUAL? Do you keep it outside or move it inside (after a good trim)? Nyctanthes...WOW. I have 4-5 really small seedlings. Blooms really smell nice?
thank you very much Calin :-D Calin this Tree Dahlia is annual is like any other,, the first time grown,, later will pull the rhizomes from the ground not frozen Calin the Nyctanthes are year?? I also expect to smells too, but not... have a gentle fragrance :-| yesterday suffered several big losses by multi winds, fell below the shelf with many succulent plants,, many broke, and many were uprooted, but what I do these things happen after the harm suffered by the shelf, today blooms for a second year plant[Hamelia patens] plant from seeds that germinate in the spring 2011. OOO... sorry about the plants You don't mess with nature! My Nyctanthes seedlings are from seeds I received in the summer... a few months ago. They have only 3-4 leaves. SMALL!
Theodoros, I am so sorry. That is horrible. It is never pleasant to begin the clean up when it looks like that. Oh! Where to begin after you see if some can be saved. Wish I were there to help you with that clean up. :'(
Oh Bummer, Theodoros! Sorry that happened, but fortunately plants are pretty resilient. Pot them back up and put them back on the shelf (and anchor it this time). I hope most, if not all, survive for you.
today Botanical gladiolus that blooms in winter, also has a sweet aroma in the afternoon :-D Gladiolus tristis is a species of gladiolus known by several common names, including ever-flowering gladiolus and marsh Afrikaner.
