    Now Flowering is reduced, now a plant that blooms plant the seeds of four years ago, is the second year that blooms
    the name Nyctanthes arbor-tristis
    Common Name : Night Jasmine, Coral Jasmine

    Theodorus,Cute plant. You have a lot of patience waiting 4 years for a bloom.Your house looks very pretty.
    You mentioned weather was bad for you this past summer. I was wondering if it was very dry & hot there too?

    But please tie up the tree dahlia before it snaps off in the wind!

    thank you very very much sewNsow :-D :-D Yes it's true I have a lot of patience :-D :-D
    yes the summer here on the island was too hot, the temperature reached 40 degrees Celsius, 3 months not rained, but he had too much moisture, that this is good for the plants,, Also today on the island where I live the temperature now is 20 degrees Celsius and yesterday had 10 degrees Celsius [the weather has gone mad]

    One morning before the dahlia blooms, came out of the house to see how the plants, and then sees the dahlia lying down on the ground from the air, scare, I think the plant broke, but fortunately not damaged, immediately after the tie up, but thank you thought to protect the plant

    WOW.
    Tree Dahlia. Is this an...ANNUAL?
    Do you keep it outside or move it inside (after a good trim)?

    Nyctanthes...WOW. I have 4-5 really small seedlings. Blooms really smell nice?

    Calin this Tree Dahlia is annual is like any other,, the first time grown,, later will pull the rhizomes from the ground not frozen :)
    Calin the Nyctanthes are year??
    I also expect to smells too, but not... have a gentle fragrance :-|

    yesterday suffered several big losses by multi winds, fell below the shelf with many succulent plants,, many broke, and many were uprooted, but what I do these things happen

    after the harm suffered by the shelf, today blooms for a second year plant[Hamelia patens]
    plant from seeds that germinate in the spring 2011.
    Common names include Firebush, Hummingbird Bush, Scarlet Bush and Redhead.

    You don't mess with nature!

    My Nyctanthes seedlings are from seeds I received in the summer... a few months ago. They have only 3-4 leaves. SMALL!

    Theodoros, I am so sorry. That is horrible. It is never pleasant to begin the clean up when it looks like that. Oh! Where to begin after you see if some can be saved.

    Wish I were there to help you with that clean up.

    Oh Bummer, Theodoros! Sorry that happened, but fortunately plants are pretty resilient. Pot them back up and put them back on the shelf (and anchor it this time). I hope most, if not all, survive for you.

    today Botanical gladiolus that blooms in winter, also has a sweet aroma in the afternoon
