    I think the pillar is looking wonderful. Can't wait to see it next year when it achieves your desired look.
    As far as deadheaded those tall roses... I see a step ladder in your future! :-D

    sooo you like the pink ones!,..lol,..as if i didn't notice,.. :rolleyes: ,..i still maintain that i have too many pinks,..here is one of the three rose bushes grown from seed,...PINK,.. :stew2: .

    Hi Cheryl,
    i was hoping for some type of long cutter/pruner rather than a step ladder,..i do have one,..but its a tight squeeze to get alongside that rose bush,..anyway i got a bright idea this morning,..so watch this space as they say.

    Hi Carolyn,
    some time back some friends were saying they would also like to walk through the garden to smell the roses,..the best i could do was to dry rose petals and bag them,..it worked,..lovely scent to this day.
