    Empress Wu Hosta

Here is mine last week before I moved it. Now I see it does look the same. Mine is just more mature. Now I still ask where do you have yours placed and what kind of soil is it placed in. It is probably 6 years old. Now I have 5 or 6 individual plants. :D :D

BTW, When I dug it out I found the original label right in the middle of the root system.

Cayuga Morning, Thanks. I have walls all along my driveway on the front garden side.

I have a Hosta bed at the NE corner of the house. If you look in the photo, it is the Hosta at the very top. It gets morning sun and late afternoon sun.

As you can see the other Hosta's are doing well. The smaller ones near the Empress were added to fill in the giant space that I had hoped the Empress would fill in :D
I wrote to a Hosta expert and she said hers is in full sun and it gets lots of water. Now I'm wondering if I should move it or let it grow there for another year?

Very pretty pictures...I used to have a lot of hostas at the other house, I never fertilized them and they were very large. I bet your type of soil makes a difference. I had sandy soil back then and I always used worm castings for a more natural alternative. I still use worm castings on my other flowers, I only have a few miniature hostas because I have too much sun here...

I was hoping Droopy would chime in on this. She's probably out lost in her garden somewhere ....
