Barb, It was brutal here today with only a high of 17 and the wind! it was frigid! My M&D live out on the "plains" of the next county over and they had their chimney plug up today. ut oh! major issue. The fire dept came out and out a ladder up on the roof... A two story farmhouse and the company that just put their new furnace in had to climb up there in this weather and fix it. Out there the wind blows incessantly making it really bone chilling. there are no trees to block the wind. I hear it is supposed to warm up for a little next week.
Yikes Carolyn so glad they got it unplugged before something really bad happened. This weather has been really crazy. I suppose in the coming days when it warms into the 40's people will be dealing with flooding. Keeping prayers going for their safety.
