thinking of giving up gardening

    I think I would though. . . of every place that I've read about on here . . . I believe Norway is where I'd like to be.

    Droopy told me the other day when she saw the pergola I was building that she had heard everything was bigger in Texas. I guess taxes are too. After all if you interchange the "e" and "a" in Texas you do get taxes. Some folks from way down South call it taxes. Anyhow, I hope you find humor in what I just wrote. From a Texan to a Texan, we don't give up we just work through. Don't give up on something you so love and enjoy. If you had a barren piece of land they will tax it. Our farm of 8 acres is split right down the middle by two counties. We have to pay taxes to both. May not seem fair but it is what it is. Have you filed for homestead exemption? Do you insure your foundation? Here you can file a request for reduction on appraisal value with the Appraisal District. It is great to devalue your home when you aren't interested in selling it. Don't stop gardening, One we would miss you and two better to be unhappy surrounded by petunias than under them. Until next time. Lavender Up!
