Thank you so much. Yes it is a bit frosty at times hahaha. Last year I took a chance and planted early May, then it snowed and sleeted for two days. I had three frosts by the end of August. Everyone survived with blankets and row covers until the last frost in August, but sheesh!! Depending on how cold the summer is my fireweed is blowing in the wind by mid September, but a 20 min drive takes me to the Alpine where I can enjoy the fireweed and lupins for a couple more weeks. Fireweed jelly is a fave when I'm patient enough to collect the blossoms. I will have to explore the forum more and find a way to share and post pictures. I'd really like that.
