Not gonna happen, we are not into the "greens" thing. I am going to stick them in the ground anywhere I can find a sunny spot....also gave some to our oldest daughter for her yard.

That is a wonderful sight, Kazza.
Did many bees and butterflies visit?

Oh... ENVY here! Wanna swap a few Hummer? I have "honey delight" which is a yellow cherry from Burpees. I love it and I want this one too but I wasn't ordering just one pack from them, I was going to check the seed rack at the big box stores but I was expecting it to not be on the rack.. I have already ordered more than any one on here can imagine. and I have two boxes of seeds for customers to start. One ordered 100 flats of veg, plants for his farm market.

I have gotten two catalogs from Burpee, this one and one with sunflowers on the cover back in January. Then there are the ones from Southern Exposure Seed Exchange, Jung Seeds and plants, 2 from Gurneys, and the one from Wildseed Farms that they gave me when we visited them on our trip there in December,.
I have received one seed order, waiting on a plant order to arrive (part this month and the other two next month) and have found more seeds I want so will be placing another order this week.

I've received two catalogs from Seeds 'n' Such which I immediately pitched without even looking at them. Ordered last year, had very poor germination, and I'm not wasting my time/money there again.
I raided the local hardware store's seed display and have everything I need, except red lettuce. I'll keep looking, and while looking at seed displays will likely find something I just HAVE to try. I'm so easy . . . .

Carolyn, I have so many tomato seeds that I am going to turn into one!! I could not honestly tell you what i have...so unorganized. Didn't think about that during the downtime.
Wow, Marlingardener...too funny!! I've pitched a few myself.

You have to watch the postage charge too. I got a catalog a couple of years ago and found two packets of seeds I wanted...total $3.50.....postage was going to be almost $8.00, I called their customer service number and was informed that the extra was for protecting the seeds from being crushed at the post office. They double wrapped each packet in bubble wrap, then they wrapped them all together in more bubble wrap, the envelope was padded with bubble wrap and with all the bubble wrap it was pretty heavy so postage was higher. I told them that was simply a way to get more money on each sale, therefore cheating the customer and to remove my name from their mailing list and surprisingly they did.
