Oo, I have grown sunset before, they are the ones with the apricot colour flowers?? I can't remember what types off hand. I think one was called Goliath. I shall go check later. I am growing more french beans than runners as I find them more versatile.
Yes the 'Sunset' has sort of apricot-coloured flowers. I think it's the only runner bean with that colour of bloom. I have had sucess with Lady Di, Desiree and Wisley Magic in past years, but I really did like the flavour of the sunsets. I like growing french climbers too. I never grow the low beans cos I don't like getting doen so low after spending the entire spring on my knees weeding and cleaning. Ha ha ha.
