Tough but charming guest

    Lol, everybody loves the cat food!!
    Our porcupines are huge here, and there's no way to pick one up. DS had a hedgie, I wore gloves to handle it but it was quite a nice little fellow. Unless it got hold of something stinky. Then it would lather itself all over it's spines, ick! I'd love to have one ambling around in my garden!

    I can just imagine what I would get if I left cat food out...such an interesting guest. Thanks for sharing...

    He is a cute little fella aint he. I have heard they are yummy to eat, but only if you want to get him out of there. : )

    I've never needed gloves to handle the hedgehogs around here. For some reason they seem to understand I'm friendly and succumb to my examinations without a single spine up. :D I'd never eat one unless I was starving, and would prefer one of Mother's pesky roe deer before "our" hedgehogs.
