Transferring Written Work Into 'My Documents' ?

    Regarding screenwriting.

    I had been hoping that there may be an online screenwriting programme, which you can save or download, that would adjust my writing into a format expected of a screenplay.

    The 'FINAL DRAFT 7' screenwriting CD has been highly recommended, but I only need a basic programme to keep me right, preferably available online.

    Any ideas ?

    I'm still using an older computer, so the programme couldn't be too complex.

    I've found that using "My Documents" keeps a neat filing system. You can make a short cut, to "My Documents", "drag & drop" it on the desk top, and then it doesn't matter where it is in the computer. Create new folders with in my documents for all your separate needs. (Garden Stew) You can open a document right from "My Documents" as well as from the program that created it. Most programs that create savable documents look for "My Documents" as a place to save. When you use "save as", in the "File" dropdown menu, you can choose where to save your documents. There is no limit to the amount that you can store there. A hint, don't make it bigger than you can burn to a CD or some other storage device, if you get another computer, you may want to move "My Documents into the new computer. You can always make a second "My Documents" (My Documents 2) What you need to do is what you are most comfortable doing. I'm an old dog, and I'm learning some new tricks, so can you.
