Thought somebody might react to that, and not surprised it was you! Cleaning a bathroom that housed a bird is no little job, but everything is easier with a glass or five of wine! Just kidding. I used a bit of strong alcohol in the sink and bathtub, just to be on the safe side. The wine came later in the evening in the form of gløgg/mulled wine/vin chaud/glühwein.
Afraid I'm teetotal now - don't touch any of it. I'm on so much medication, it's impossible. I don't really miss it either.
I've been teetotal for more than forty years Tetters. I only drank to be sociable before that but never enjoyed it. I'm now happy with my Lucozade and Ribena.
I just had a chance to read this Droopy. What a wonderful thing you did for your feathered friend. Well done. Good idea putting the camera in. That really is a Christmas feel good story.
