So what was the decision (or was there one?) - Shall it just stay General Discussion or become Something Else?

Since everything goes into a stew, why not "The Stewpot"?

It has been more than a few days. Has a decision been made on renaming "General Discussion"?

Do you need more help? Should we have a poll on the best of the lot? Maybe not, we don't want to usurp your job? Dooley

Well all I finally decided :D Let me know what you all think of...

    The Village Square

Congrats to Eileen for her great suggestion! And many thanks to all that threw in suggestions, they were all wonderful but here are some reasons why I chose 'The Village Square'

    - GardenStew is not just about gardening so it was a good idea to choose something slightly generic.
    - The forum is a gathering of members to talk about this and that so a village square fits perfectly into that idea of a gathering.
    - It's catchy and easy to remember.
    - IMO it wouldn't be confusing to new members (please shout if you think otherwise ;))

All in all I hope you like the new name over "General Discussion" and congrats again to Eileen! :smt038

Me like. It sounds European and continental.

I like it too. A lot of small towns have village squares. Prescott has one. Dooley
