Funny, this video was uploaded on YouTube, on the 15th of November last year. Nobody at the time was aware that we all would soon experience a global lockdown...

What my city, (7th largest in the world), looks like under lockdown.

We live in a small town that is stuck cheek to cheek with Dallas and most afternoons our streets look like that too. We do get out a couple of times a week to pick-up to go dinner orders from some of our favorite small independent eateries, just trying to help them out.

Guess I am the perpetual optimist with questioning wonder. I believe things will definitely change for the better. Many people for the first time have to sit with their own thoughts. They don’t have to go out. There is only so many diversions to explore.

For myself I have been more generous because of my own reflections. There is a belief, that every circumstance has a teaching within it and maybe the human race needed a wake up call. Experiences have repeatedly shown me, “What you put out energetically you get back. What you fight against you give strength to.” Within our 3D world maybe we get to create our own reality by the stories we tell ourselves. Is your story painting the reality you desire? It’s fun being a crazy old lady with dirt under my nails:whistling:

Speaking of being optimistic, here is a funny video of these Pakistani doctors trying cheer up their patients. Who are suffering from Coronavirus.

They say laughter is the best medicine. :D

My personal take on this all. Coronavirus is a type of seasonal flu that is being used to install a worldwide dictatorship. This is just a test. The ptb want to see how far they can push us. Vaccines and chips and other associated plans. it is up to us to make our future. Not Gates and company. This is our opportunity to create our local networks of distribution. Phrases like social distancing e.t.c. were prepared Before the plandemic.

How effective is this "lockdown" locally?

I'm trying to make it just one shopping trip a week, which takes no more than an hour.
Two neighbours whose houses I can see from my chair in our front room, were both "shopping" for more than half a day on Sunday (no cars in the drive) and today one of them has already put out their refuse bin which will not be collected until tomorrow afternoon and their car is missing.

You don't have to be Poirot to work that one out.

I think my neighbors had a, (what I can only assume is called) "#6feetparty" in their backyard. Yup they definitely had a couple of people over.

but what's the harm its not like the hospitals are overflowing, if anything the current problem is that there isn't enough people getting sick, here the government took steps to make 2000 beds available, and I'm pretty sure these beds they are just sitting there ...waiting... I've calculated that at this rate( which is clearly no longer exponential ), it's going to take ~2 years before this virus has run its course.

well shoot, this means 2 years of lockdown I guess!?!?

this lockdown was understandable when we had no clue what was going around and though 5% of the people would get hit really hard, now we know that its more like 0.5% that get hit hard. its time to lift the lockdown! of course if you're over 65years old you wanna be part of the 40% that get protected by the 60% heard immunity thing, so, you guys stay home for a while longer, while us young people take one for the team!

@S-H I followed the link to the article. It is speculation and no studies have been done yet. The article is pure fearmongering and hence uninteresting to me at this point.
