They say plant it in dappled shade and it will grow out to the light,..and as you can see by mine that's exactly what they did,..but that's only a guideline,..now mine are sprouting up everywhere. Seeing you have a young plant i would stick to dappled,..or light shade to allow it to become established,..i will keep my fingers crossed for you with this one,..let me know how it gets along.
When i look at some other members gardens i too feel the same,..but that's gardening and gardeners,.. we tend to treat how we see our garden akin to a painting,..that's never finished,..always something more to add to its completion,..but seldom finishing.
Thanks - I think it shall go in the memory garden. Part of it is shaded by a large weeping willow tree.
Hi Calvinjane, i found some advise and information on Foxgloves,..dappled light is mentioned,..as is plenty of other information,..you might find the link interesting. How to grow: Foxgloves - Telegraph
Phillip - I just planted the plant and realized I didn't buy foxglove - I bought delphinium, another plant that I don't usually have good luck with. But it is now in the memory garden and we will see what happens.
Lol,..i know where you went wrong,..its thinking of the tall plants,..Verbascium,..Foxgloves,..Delphinium,..but not to worry,..Delphinium give a better performance in full sun,..but also can be grown in dappled light,..so where you have it is fine.
