I have too much rain here and it had been raining every late afternoon till evening for almost everyday. I got so frustrated with the rain this afternoon and decided that I would brave and proceed to continue to prepare the bed for my toms. I was out there hardly 15 minutes and I was drenched with mud everywhere, everything was slippery too. I wonder if there is a way to send the rain clouds your way!
Hi KK, i just checked my new water storage tank,..its filled to the top since this morning,..which should mean rivers and lakes also reservoirs will be full,..i don't know what the weather is like in Englands east coast and midlands,..but i hope they replenished their reservoirs. You on the other hand have too much rain all in one month then dryish for the remainder of the year,..are you in monsoon season?...i can imagine you trying to brave the rain and mud in order to get out into the garden but i would wait a spell,..too wet and slippy.
Hi Philip, Nice to know that you got your tank filled I do not know what kind of season we were having here, it's kind of a gone crazy like mother nature striking back at all the destruction of nature that is going on. The toms were really growing real fast and I really wanted to get them transplanted before the get stunted moreover I have not had any success with toms yet so I guess my anxiety and the nutgrass is making me do things that I would normally don't do :!: Today we got fine weather and I just need another two fine days and I can start singing HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN :!:
Here in the high Desert we are in a drought always. We are so lucky that we are allowed to put gray water on our plants so at least the ornamental' s and big Trees wont die. We piped the shower water onto them.
Hi KK, that song reminded me of days in the army,..when we were far from happy about going someplace,..and everyone was in agreement,..we would sing Happy Days Are Here Again,..just to confuse those at the top,..here is another of the same type song Bless Them All. ===================================================== Hi Happyzinnia, its hard to imagine being in drought,.. always,..seeing we get so much rain here then complain if we don't have a downfall after two weeks,..i guess we are spoiled,..its amazing how you can adapt to using grey water and improvise in ways most people would never think of this side of the pond.
