I get the "unstick the needle" reference but I had to cheat and look it up. I would never had gotten it on my own (that's what you get growing up with only tapes, CDs and MP3s ;))

Had the slightest fall of some snowflakes at around 17:30 but then nothing. It's coming!!! :D

Although we are having some of the coldest weather in a decade I still keep my window open at night to get a bit of fresh air. Helps me sleep better. That is until my foot ventures out from beneath the blanket :smt085

Pretty pleasant here today, mid 70's. Clouded up a while ago but the rain appears to be falling on someone else again.

We always have the windows open on winter nights. I can't sleep in a warm room....mainly because warm rooms make hubbies snoring worse :D

It's only in 50's here today. It is very windy. We don't have heat in our house at night so it is cool enough without opening a window. We don't have cooling in the summer so they are open all the time then. It looked like rain today but none showed. The weatherman said the best chance for rain this week will be Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. But, he said that last week too. Dooley

Hail here today instead of snow. Still cold but the temperature has risen slightly.

We have no heating on in our bedroom - never have had and this old cottage is so draughty upstairs that there's no need to open windows. :(

Toni, funny you should mention snoring as I was just thinking a couple of weeks ago that Ian snores less during the winter. I thought it was probably just because his head was muffled in the duvet more!!! :D :D

I know Rob snores less in the winter. He sleeps more on his side and in the fetal postion. When he is hot, he will spread out on his back. I sleeo better in the winter too. When Robs hot, Im up all night poking with my elbow and telling him to roll over.

ive learned a trick tho. In the summer, I make sure the ac is on and point a fan right at him. That way during the night he is curled up on his side.

But back to today. Its another wonderful morning. Not too cold and not too hot. The sun is just starting to dry the dew on the ground and the birds are singing!

It was about 75F here today. No snow!!! It might rain on Wed, Thurs or Friday. No one is sure. It might not rain, too. We went up to Prescott and it was so windy there I had to keep chasing my hat. Brian was with me and his hat stayed on his head. I may need to go back to my hat with strings. Here in Mayer it isn't so windy. Dooley

It is cloudy, almost black to the northwest. But, no rain is predicted for today. I hope not, we still have work to do today. Dooley

Mid 60's this morning, going into the 80's later today.
Lots of sunshine until Wed, then we could have the first severe spring storm of the year and the first we have had in two years.
March is supposed to be one of the more active tornado months and since we had nothing last year we may be overdue for a humdinger.

Sunny and cold here for most of today. The pond still has about 1 & 1/2 inches of ice on it. Tried breaking it to let the birds drink but it just re-froze. :( More snow and then rain forcast for the rest of the week.

It started nice here today. Blue sky, warm. Now the blue sky is full of those big fluffy clouds and it it very windy. I had to go work at the library this morning and the truck was being blowed here and there. I now have a cup of tea and will stay inside. It's too windy to water anything. Guess who would end up all wet. Dooley
