We haven't had a hosepipe ban here in Scotland since 1976 Catkins!!! :D It's only 'down south' that are suffering from drought conditions. We have too many hills here for a shortage of rain to be a problem as a rule. I just like to keep all my pots and baskets from drying out too much as they're full of my 'pretties.' :-D

It has been a beautiful day here today. Sunny,80F and no wind. Such a contrast from last Saturday and Sunday when we nearly blew away. It was lovely to be outside and we did quite well at the flea market. Lots and lots of people out in the beautiful weather. Dooley

Goodness, that's a lot of water! Is that unusual for this time of year there?

We are having that spring weather that changes daily - yesterday it was blazing down on us and got over 80, today it turned windy and the temperature dropped to the high 50s as rain poured down... then by sunset it was clear again - I'm sure my plants are completely confused. 8)

No thats not usually for this time of year. But for two months we had under an inch of rain. And the temps reached the mid to high 90s. This was Mother Nature just catching up I guess. we had 9 inches of rain fall yesterday!!!!!

I didnt lose any plants but I lost alot of flowers and there is alot of damage. But nothing that I cant live with, concidering.

I will gladly take some of that rain from you. We had storms in the area Friday night.....notice I said "in the area"? Many places around us got really high winds, lots of damage from what was either straight line winds or possibly a tornado...that I was glad to pass on. But most everyone got rain 1-3 inches....my rain gauge measured 1/4 of an inch.

Today is clear and warmish, no yard work today since I have a grandson to further bamboozle every chance I get :-D

It rained heavily overnight but now it's clearing and looks as though it's going to be a lovely afternoon. :-D At least I won't have to water all my baskets and pots today. :-D

Warmish here again and breezy. I waited too late in the morning to be out in the yard very long.
Will have to get up earlier tomorrow.

Warm if you're out of the wind, but there's a cold wind blowing here. I keep being drawn out into the sunshine only to get too cold and end up coming back in.

It was 89F here today and I finished digging the herb garden and set the flagstone for the rest of the path.
I planted petunias in the big pots that I put down by the bridge. Dooley
