I'm just too Scottish for all the hot, sticky weather we're having at the moment. :(

There's been no rain here for more than two weeks now. Let's hope we get some soon.

We didn't get much rain in Mayer but Prescott and Prescott Valley got dumped on. Thunder, lightning and pouring rain for three hours or more. Spectular storm for sure. I guess I have to water the trees tomorrow. Dooley

Mid-90's again. Today and tomorrow are two more of those "best chance east and south of here" days where rain is involved. Our only chance is Friday and that is slim, then the temps start heading closer and closer to 100 again.

Rain rain rain! And we are suppose to get it all week!
:scheming: My yard is on big pond! It wont soak up anymore water! I havent seen the sun all day and from what is being said, I wont til next week. :'(

All the roses in the garden, are drooping from all the rain! Its rained so hard that they look more like mash taters than roses blooms! If I dont get a break from the rain soon, Ill have to transplant in it! Time to transplant is running out!

Its cold at night too. It was in the mid 70s last night!

Nope, that gorgeous wet stuff is not coming up this far north. There appears to be some hope that it will later this evening and/or overnight.
On the good side it is only 88 with a feels like temp of 94 and has been partly cloudy.

We have a chance of isolated or scattered showers in the forecast until Wednesday next week. But the temperatures are going down from low 100's to upper 70's. Chance will like that a lot. She doesn't like this hot humid weather. I'm not fond of the humid part, but if we want rain I guess we'll have to have humid. Dooley

Heavy rain yesterday morning and a slow gentle rain all afternoon today. Of course, it would rain - this is the week of the county fair - it always seems to rain for it.

99 already this afternoon with a feels like of 103. This is normal for August, just wish the rain levels for the year had been.
All that wonderful rain from the tropical wave in the Gulf went too far east of us and we are still high and dry. Will be for the next week to 10 days.

Toni, still praying for rain for you. I am so grateful for what we have been getting.

The insurance adjuster called this morning and said we are not covered for trees killed by drought, so we have to get them cut ourselves. It is now noted and if we don't and they fall on the house the insurance won't cover the damage.
