We went to Prescott this morning and it starting snowing big time. It was 39F when we got there and half an hour later it was 31F. We left and came home. As we came down in altitude, the snow became less. When we got home, no snow. Good! Well, not good! We need any moisture we can get. I wish it could snow when it's not cold. Dooley

We are having rain this morning. At least I think that is what those globs of wet stuff falling from the sky are called. It has been almost 4 months since my yard has felt them. My second most favorite type of day is a dark, rainy one....gosh I have missed them. We really haven't had anything like this since April 2005. Almost 3/4" of rain the gauge out back......only 15" more to go before the drought will be broken. And there is talk among the weather prognosticators that our weather pattern is changing so maybe we will see more of this wonder stuff. Toni in dry and way too warm for winter, north Texas

Well, sunny Arizona is sunny today, but not warm. It was only 18F this morning. It's warmed up to 45F but since the thermometer is in the afternoon sun right now, it probably isn't that warm. It is supposed to be cold all week. No rain in sight though or snow. Dooley

Great photo. The kids would be thrilled if we had a snowfall like that this weekend! Here in Essex, cold cold cold again. Minus 3 when I took the sprogs to school. Brightened at lunch time, then drizzled during the afternoon! Roll on summer!!
I like summer. Cold is my least favorite season. It's got to be a season. It lasts longer than summer most places. The rain has stopped but now it's really windy. Dooley
