It's raining

 

Last night a cold front (yes, we do occasionally get those in Texas) moved in, bringing a 30 degree drop in temperature and 1.2" of welcome rain. We went from mid-70's in the afternoon to mid-40's by 8 p.m. I'm not complaining, but the cats are!

After severe drought, I went to the rain gauge and poured out 3 inches from the little tropical storm brewing in the Gulf of Mexico. We are to catch more of it tomorrow. That will make a good start for fall gardening.

Been a sunny day but a bit cold, now it's partly cloudy and light wind temp 5c down to 3c.

 

Logan, we shared your sunshine, but weren't cold. We started out at 48 degrees at 7 a.m., and then progressed to 71 by mid-afternoon. The wind kicked up about noontime, but has subsided now. I sure hope this keeps up!
