Weird colored Iris?

    You could call the first one Mardi Gras or Purple Clown! Love it.

    Tooty2shoes---I don't understand. Did the iris in the first picture bloom like that again this year, or did it bloom like the iris in the second picture? Both are pretty, but the 1st is very unusual.

    The first picture is the same Iris. That is the color it bloomed the first year and then the second picture is the color it bloomed this year. Very interesting.

    @Tooty2shoes, The Bicolor Iris is gorgeous. I have seen iris with that shade of purple. However, I have not seen any with your beautiful markings.
