    Beautiful flowers Philip.The mild weather has really extended the season this year.I still have a dahlia going strong and my 'freckles' has more flowers on it than for a very long time.

    Sjoerd,I'm surprised that your freckles succumbed to frost.Mine has survived right down to the -18 degrees C we had a couple of years ago.

    Hi Patti,..sorry your Hollyhocks didn't appear this year,..i lost two of mine but luckily i had some new ones planted also i was sent some seeds from friends in the stew.

    One of my Hollyhocks grew over 9ft this summer,..very hard to dead head lol.

    Hi Kiasmum,..like you i also have some Dahlia still growing strong,..it was a great season,..and its still producing blooms in Autumn,..keeps us gardeners happy.
