Probably somethin easy like spicy chili dogs with cheese onions and jello salad. I have to finish replacing a bunch of Xmas bulb lights from the wind that storm knocked them around pretty good.

Tetters …oh potato pancakes now that’s a great idea… I like them better than mashed. Yumm…

Marinated baked chicken with rice and broccoli.

    Hmm- that sounds plain.

Tarragon basil herb mix marinaded baked skinless chicken served with chicken broth white rice and a classic stir fry in buttered mirin mixed with brocolli spears, sliced almonds and walnuts.

    Thats better.

Next up on the "I will try anything once" list is leafballs:

Conchiglioni, filled with tender flavorful cheese mixture, and bathed in home grown, home made tomato sauce. A night in Italy.

@ Tetters, the mashed potato pancakes are a popular item. They are mashed potatoes, onion, garlic, egg, a little flour. I fried in a skillet. Adding cheese and Cholula came from me.

I was looking at some Scottish recipes. These are similar to tattie scones, but messier. Next time I might try those, or Irish potato pancakes, or Bubble and Squeak.

Ha!! The Scottish Rumbledethumps is a dish I've made with left over veggies, especially potatoes and onions. Any cheese will do (leftover is good) I make bubble and squeak quite often, good with a fried egg and baked beans in tomato sauce - from the supermarket

[IMG] without the bacon of course:rolleyes:
This one is another favourite in our house :like:
