It's cooled down, a lot. I made 5 pints of dill pickles, and a marbled banana bread, yesterday. And the house was still cool after the oven and canning. Mowed the lawn today, well the back yard. And cleaned out and refilled my granddaughter's pool.

Cayuga, my tomatoes have blooms, but I haven't gotten any tomatoes, either.

We have a few small tomatoes just picked today. The only larger one was ripe enough, but it had a hole in it which looked like a bird had poked's beak inside. into the compost, sadly.

I sold a couple of kilos, gave away some, ate some and we blanched and froze 2,7kgs and today I harvested more until it started raining. I also mulched and attached tomatoes too. I have lettuces and beans and pumpkins to transplant and leeks too.

    Sounds good Odif.

We just got back today from our farm. I hope to get out to the Community Garden to check on things. I hope I have some beans ready!

Odif, I hope the humidity isn't as drenching where you are. Picking all those beans would be even harder work. Are those String-less??

@Growingpains yes they most certainly are stringless.

Today’s harvest was good again. Just in time because it then started raining. I also transplanted lettuces and leeks and beans.

AHA, I see all the ends in the bowl. I prefer string-less. As a child, I recall our family sitting around a bushel basket of beans, everybody stringing beans,
I will wait until evening to pick mine. Not nearly as many as you have.

Odif, that's how we save our beans and kale.
I have only walked the gardens, added a bit of water to tomato suckers which are being rooted in water.

Moved vole traps around. Began harvesting onions and garlic. They look great!

Taking a rest before I weedwhack the h**l out of our yard!
Still catching up after being away.

Well today, this morning, I harvested some courgettes and carrots and finished planting out my lettuces and leeks. Then I went down the road and started working in a new garden. I strimmed and passed the rotavator. At half past 2 I gave that up because I was overheating. This evening I went to the garden and harvested beans and courgettes and strawberries and some dahlia flowers. I hilled pots and beans and transplanted pumpkins. I watered all the seeds that had not yet grown. Then it got dark so I had to give it up, but just in time, I got a couple of pictures.
