Thanks Odif. Does this cabbage head as other cabbage does?
Is it used in similar cabbage dishes, Sauer kraut, for instance?

Growingpains - I think I've been told that they develop into those metallic green beetles that fly around in the Summer. They eat flowers and are attracted to rotting fruit.
The grubs are as large as your thumb and VERY ugggggly. Wish I had a creek to drop them into.

they make an elongated shaped head. They can be eaten in salads or stir fry, e.t.c. However best of all they are made into the Korean national dish, Kimchi. Kimchi is a lacto fermented dish a bit like sauerkraut, but very spicy and infinitely better. Even my German wife prefers kimchi to sauerkraut.

I am sure those green veggies are delish, but I have to say that for me, the pics themselves just look so darn good. Chapeau.

Aaron, just a thought. You are on a free website with gardeners with experience, and who will answer specific questions you may have. Directing folks to another website is rather like standing at the entrance of a restaurant and directing potential diners to a restaurant down the street with a limited menu and unreliable wait staff.

Cuatro-gatos, are the metalic green flying beetles about the size of a thumbnail? If so, I believe we called them June bugs. As a child, we had mostly homemade toys. Therefore we caught June bugs, tied a length of thread to a hind leg and used them as living kites. In case anyone finds that cruel, bear in mind, we were at least inventive!
Odif, I have seen cabbage with that shape. I'm not certain I have tasted it.

Clay, I assume the peppers are also in pots?
I checked the back garden this morning. Leftover
kale looks as if it may begin leafing out soon.
