    Did some weeding.
Did a thorough check-up on my bees. All is well.

As I washed carrots for Tabouleh, I noticed two with tiny green sticking out of the top. I cut the tops off at about half an inch and stuck them in the garden.

I realized yesterday, that I would be better for my seeds to sprout "WITH" light in my homemade grow box...duh lmbo~~ I believe I saw a baby sprouting!! I really am new to this way of using rockwool. Yep, I doing hydroponics in our apartment...might as well put one of two empty-nest/spare bedrooms to use as a grow room!! Everything is going to be as homemade as possible...I still have to show you all my "grow box". I'll try now while it have a minute!

Amazing what foil, pvc pipe, tape, shop light and an empty gazelle/treadmill box can become!!
This whole wall will be covered in foil or mylar soon...have to move the box to the right a bit to make room for the containers, shelves and shop light that I am constructing. I am using (7 1/2" x 5 1/2") a little more than half of the room (10x10 room). That corner and the area where the window is...
    - Don't know if you all can see this, but these are the peppers, tomatoes, basil, cilantro that I bought on Saturday (looking a bit sad here...you should see them now in the window) which will also be participants of hydroponics and a few aquaponic experiments.

hummerbum, I'm not getting your photos.

Sjoerd, you certainly grow a variety of food. You and Bride have my deepest admiration.

Thanks so much, GP...you say the nicest things.

    More weeding (ground Elder) URGGHHH!.
Cleaned the strawberry bed and mixed in some cow manure pellets...some of the plants are blooming!
Removed a chunk of my white phlox...and am cleaning an area to plant a couple of new phlox plants.

There is a great tit nesting in one of the birdhouses and they have used some of my bride's red hair. She recently cut her hair and I took it to the lottie and stuffed it into a small net-like peanut bag. The tits have removed almost all of it already.

I stared at my yard for an hour trying to will it to mow itself. Didn't happen.

Didn't get that planter painted either.

But I do have spinach starting to sprout in the starters along with cucumbers and peppers all starting to like up into the light.

    Brava! Well done you.
That's great news. I like the looks of your set-up there.
It looks like you've gotten the foto upload sorted.
