    Thank you Pac !!

You've been working your behind off !!

I never heard of trimming the taproot of a Pecan but I think it's so the root will fork, making the tree set itself more firmly in the ground and to coax more feeder roots to grow off it.

You should ask @Jersey Devil about Poinsettias. He keeps his going all year long and they set beautiful red bracts the following year. I don't know how he does it be he'll be glad to share, I'm sure.

Yesterday did some watering and hubby did some weeding, but the ground is too dry to do a lot.
Today for me it's hair washing day, so not much today.

Nothing again today, apart from changing the white heather in this big Apta pot by the front door, for this azalea, which I bought in B&Q a month ago for £18. I thought it was quite good for the money.

The only thing I need to do in the garden today is pick some Zinnia flowers and some Courgettes. Yesterday I wateredand weeded all the plants that needed it, watered the veg garden, and weeded and watered my Fig and Peach tree.

I'm gonna catch up on cleaning the house, hang out a laundry on the line and get some groceries. Easy day for catching up on rest..

Set up the hoses for the irrigation system . Changed the washers and added tape to stop leaks. Power washed the patio and still cleaning the moss and gunk off the house and windows. Cleaned out all the spider webs on the porches . Popped off all the debris on the vaulted ceiling and spider webs on the shade house. I’m hoping less spiders in the house. Tired of seeing all those tiny clack spiders in the house. I’m probably guilty of bringing in several spiders this time of year the spiders catch a ride on the wind and face to face webs flying across my face is the norm. There a lot of wolf spiders out and mowing the pastures bumplebee’s are loving the dandelions. Saw some wild honey bees today searching flowers for pollen.
And these guys are out today harassing everybody.
