    wow...what a bonfire! and you are correct, since purple is one of my favorite colors....that oxalis would suit me just fine! :-D :stew1:

    chocolate, we need some perks up here near the arctic circle. :D Hostas is one. We'll have fun and I'll show photos when we get home. When the girls are grown up husband and I will probably flee to the southern hemisphere in September/October and pretend we're migratory birds. :D

    Thanks, CM. :D Jericho Walls step 1 and 2 are already planted up with perennials, bulbs and some other stuff, and step 3 will hold hostas and probably some heathers and Heuchera. The bit closest to the house won't get much sun so it's perfect for hostas who burn easily.

    donna, I hope you find a peony soon. I've always had them in my garden, wherever I've lived, and can't imagine my garden without them.

    Annette, the minute I checked the tag I knew I had to show it. :D Wish I could send you bulbs once it has spread out. Maybe you can find a supplier over there. If you can't find "Annette" there might be others like her. Several of them look alike.
