I'm glad you got him. Last year our friends caught a marten which had been killing their chickens. My husband skinned it, sprinkled some salt on the skin side, rolled it up and stuck it in the freezer. He's going to make insoles for his slippers with it! The fur is wonderfully soft. Can you do something like that with the weasel?
That would have been nice but it got wet and muckie in the ditch that he was in and the trap wrecked him. I will keep that in mind next time we get one. Barb in Pa.
