That attitude is a symptom of what's known as Misanthropy, which basically is a hatred for the entire human race. But it's nothing too bad, as I have it too... Which is why I come here, as horticulture is one of the fews things which have a relaxing effect upon me... However these days what really burns me up is the attitude of our uniformed officials (specially the cops). Over here in my part of the world, cops and criminal are actually one and the same - Only one is in the uniform, while the other is not. Otherwise I swear that there really is no difference between the 2! In my entire life, I have never been mugged on the street, nor have my car broken into. However I have been forced to pay very heavy bribes many times to the local policemen. And no, I have never violated the law - They do, all the time (by constantly harassing people). But there isn't much that anyone can do about it, as they (because they are in a uniform) are given ample legal cover - While you as an ordinary citizen have no say. So when they corner you and shamelessly ask for a bribe, it's better to give it to them and go on your way. Or else... So this really burns me up a lot, as I am physically strong enough to instantly turn their light out. But I chose not to, only because I was raised to be a civilized person. But I have recently noticed that me holding myself back from bashing them, is now also having a slightly negative effect on my own health... Honestly, people with bad attitude I can easily handle. But when they (our cops) approach you and say: "We have been patrolling this posh area of yours for so many days, keeping you safe from the criminals. So can you please now help us out a little in these financially trying times, (or else we'll be forced to stop *protecting* you and your home)" - Is when I hope they all somehow suddenly drown in their own vomit! After this, the next greatest thing which I hate the most - Are the "religiously enlightened people", who go from door to door trying to convert everyone else to their ways. And those like me who do not answer the door (when I see exactly who's been ringing the doorbell at the gate from the camera) - End up having their mailbox bombarded with their leaflets... Sigh! It's almost like if you ignore them, then it instantly becomes their sole mission in life to make sure that you are now somehow "shown the right path"...
