What Music Are You Listening to Now or Your Favourite Songs of All Time

Watched the documentary on Teddy Pendergrass on TV last night.
He was the lead vocalist in Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes.



After going solo, he became a quadriplegic after a car accident in 1982 (crashed his Rolls Royce), but made a partial recovery and made 5 albums from a wheelchair.
Here at Live Aid in 1985.



He recovered some use of his biceps so used a band around them and his chest so by raising his arms a bit he could compress his lungs more to help him get the air past his vocal chords.




Died in 2010 just short of his 60s birthday.

I like Sarah Collins.
She has a YouTube channel, where she "Sings to her hairbrush." Well, she holds a mike in some. She's been making them for about seven years.
She sang a very good version of "I'm Gonna Make You an Offer You Can't Refuse." and yesterday. I found her cover of "Betcha By Golly Wow," probably better known as a Stylistics recording, but I've a copy in one of my jukeboxes by Phyllis Hyman.
