2 days ago Burt Bacharach passed away, here's some of his that he wrote.

 

Great songs will last a lifetime and beyond. The magic he gave so many with his music.

 

Yes and to so many artists.

 

The topic came up on a music board and I posted a link to the whole album.
I've had a copy of the album since 1960.

I like this by Cannonball Adderley. 1928-1975.

 

I'm watching the Clint Eastwood Film, "The Mule," on BBC2.
It's about 20 minutes in. He's at a wedding sitting at a table talking to his ex-wife?
You can just about hear the unseen band behind their conversation. There's only a few seconds of it, but I recognised the song the male vocalist was singing, it was "Moody's Mood For Love."

Never heard that sung at a wedding. I guess it was Eastwood's choice as a bit of a jazz enthusiast.

I gave up watching Eurovision when "tactical voting" came in. That was over twenty years ago.

 

We could have wone it last year, if it wasn't for Ukraine being in the war.
But we could win it this time, i know that the voting system is not what it should be.
