Was making a playlist on the eco dot with Alexa and came across this. The backing track of what is life by George Harrison.

Honestly there is just so much good music out there! Florence and the Machine, Prince, Raveena, Queen, Louis Armstrong, Etta James, ELO, Elton John, Elvis, Dolly Parton, The Velvet Underground, The Lumineers, Whitney Houston, Vashti Bunyan, Tom Petty . . . Ah, too much great music to fit into one post!

    yes I agree with Dianne
At the moment I'm interested in George Harrison but the one that I'm really interested in is the carpenters.

His lyrics are so good and makes it very easy listening. Something special when a singer sings his own songs.
A late friends Husband an alcoholic who will always be one now. He helped me out with guitar playing at the beginning and he use to sing his own songs, was like a different guy at times like that.

Yes that's right, do you still play the guitar? I can't play anything.

Just started having a go at the old organ, I had to buy it the second I spotted it from a Charity Shop in Hastings. it was so much like my late Dads, just been sitting there waiting for the right time..that is now..as for my guitar playing I still strum out a few tunes of sorts....actually have not progressed as I wanted to, but always going to enjoy just playing around with it...

Have to admit I'm on my sixth leccy piano. There's a lot of fun you can have making your own music. I've about 200 recordings on Box.
It's all singin' n' dancing, complete with wifi. The number of styles and voices are endless.
If you sing, (I don't) it'll harmonise your voice (so you can sound twice as bad!).

Whoops! that's just my avatar on an electric piano message board.

This is my Yamaha Tyros 5.

I'll play anything that appeals to me, like Lionel Richie. Had to search for the right solo effect.

But I like jazz standards. Some of the classics are timeless.
