    I'm not sure what was # 1, the list doesn't go back that far, but the big bands were popular in the early 40s, and I'm a product of 1940, well before pop and rock, we had swing and boogy woogy. I like both today. All I can remember is going to see my first movie, Bambi, and mom said I was afraid of Bambi's father.
