My first car was a 61 Rambler Classic,
but my favorite was a '72 Opel GT.
I've never owned a new vehicle and I never plan to.

I have a 64 1/2 Nash Rambler now.It doesn't run but the only reason it wouldn't start was the starter went out and we couldn't find one for it.

Glenda, the first year I worked in the auto industry was 1963, at American Motors. We were building 1964 Ramblers. I remember them well. Then it was Nash-Kelvinator not AMC.

The first car I ever drove was a 1983 Jetta. The first car I ever owned was a 1978 Malibu Classic. I LOVED that car and drove it right into the ground. It was a sad day when they finally came to tow it away.

My very first car was a mustard coloured Ford Escort LX Loved this car - dad gave it to me.

My second car was a gold Ford Fiesta Ghia. Dad again brought me this one and she was my pride and joy ... until....

I took out my very first bank loan and brought a Ford Escort XR3-i. (I seem to have a Ford fettish!) This was jet black and COOL! All my mates took the micky, but they always wanted accepted a lift!

Once I met my darling Mark we went through a host of cars, mostly Vauxhalls, but now we are back to Ford and drive a good family all round car - a Ford Mondeo.

Ford cars are a great choice EJ. :-D My daughter (the budding mechanic) swears by them as she says the parts are resonably priced and easy to fit. Not that I'd have a clue!!!
