I just put a meat loaf in the oven and a sweet potatoe to bake. Cooking some green beans to go with it. Good day for the oven -- rainy and a little chilly today. You must have got me thinking about meat loaf Dooley, and I do like meat loaf sandwiches. I'll have to slice it and put some in the freezer for another time.
I'm making vegetable beef soup. Started a piece of chuck roast early and it's cooking off the bone now. I just picked a couple carrots, kale and swiss chard from the garden and oregano, basil, thyme and rosemary. I have, of course, zucchine and some corn. Could have used that green bean. But, this will do for a start. Maybe a potato or two and some tomato. Dooley
I guess yesterday was my day to cook. I made salmon patties, boiled potatoes, peas and white sauce for lunch. For supper I made chili. Today we had shili and sandwiches. Wannabe
Homemade soup. I put the roast in the crock pot last night bc Mom has a dr.'s appointment and it is quicker that way. When we get back I will put the roast and everything else in a big pot and let her rip.
Absolutely nothing! Maybe I can talk DR into getting a sandwich on the way to work. We have to go up early anyway. Dooley
Not cooking today as I had to take DD kitten tot he vet. It will be every man or woman as the case mayebe for themselves. There is plenty of the great homemade soup Sharon did yesterday though
Well, we didn't do the leftover soup, that will be tomorrow night. Loving wife and dear mother that I am came home and cooked after working all day and going to Bible study. I got this breaded chicken with orange sauce packet. I fried the chicken chunks and glazed them with the orange sauce. We also had pepper bites, potato bites, and cheese sticks, but only 2 apeice. We don't fry often, and boy was it good.
