It's not really warm here today. Too breezy so I'm make soup. Vegetable soup! A little of this and that in it. I found a lot of small zucchini left and cut all of them and added them mostly whole or in chunks. I added a bit of swiss chard and a bit of kale. The grasshoppers have been helping themselves to it. Other than that, some corn, greenbeans, carrots, potatoes and tomatoes. Well, a bit of beef and a bit of pork. Maybe I should cut up those leftover Italian sausages.I will think about that awhile first. Some herbs and peppercorns and you have soup or something resembling it. Dooley

I just put a roast in the oven with onion and I will add potato and carrots to it later. For lunch I fried two minute steaks and poured Golden mushroon soup over them and put them in the oven. While it finished I made some minute rice and green beans. Wannabe

Regina was in New York for the holiday, so I made cornbread dressing for her, with fried chicken and petit pois peas. Last night was spaghetti pie.

I made soup yesterday but we may go do a little Christmas shopping. It feels like Christmas weather even though there is no snow. If we do we will stop at Golden Corral. Dooley

Today we're having mushroom leek soup. The broth is flavored with beef broth and milk. I put potatos in it for the husbands hearty appetite. Perfect for a busy Saturday.

We are having dinner at Lisa's tonight. Austin's 11th birthday is on Monday and since that is a school night the family birthday party is this evening.
Lisa is making her delicious turkey pot pies and of course we will have birthday cake and ice cream.

It is everyone for himself night. Regina and Richard have a pizza in the oven, I'll do leftovers or cereal.
