I am baking brownies. Should be ready in about 25-30 minutes...if you can't get here in an hour you will probably miss them. Nothing goes faster around here than fresh baked warm brownies and chocolate chip cookies.

    Oh, yum!

We're having edamame pods, baked salmon with ground hazelnuts and dill havarti with mushroom slices instead of crackers. Much better than yesterday's pathetic leftovers and pancakes.

Richard, I never realized beans, rice and cornbread were a southern delicacy until a few years ago :-D
When my ex was in college in the early 60's, I worked for the State and he worked part time delivering papers to the paperboys, we lived on beans, rice and cornbread most of those years.

We're having white beans too but I'm making them into an Italian dish called pasta fazul. The beans are cooking now with a little salt, then onions, peppers and garlic are satueed slowly in olive oil and then added to the beans. Then small pasta is cooked and the beans are put over it. So good and very hearty too.

Catfish fillets surrounded by tomato slices and cooked under the broiler. The tomatos blacken and are then cut up and tossed with hot pasta. Also having green beans.
