A salad of chopped up raw cauliflower, tad of red pepper, garden tomatoes and chopped up chicken breast.
As simple as it is, I found that it does take a bit of skill to get it right. Totally worth the effort!
@Catdaddy6676 I agree. There is onion soup and then there is onion soup. They're all not created equal but when it is 'right' it is super delicious Tonight am eating the dregs of whatever I find in the fridge. Am thinking turkey meat, lettuce, red pepper & sweet pickle wrapped in a soft taco.........
Going full tilt Korean today, with beef short ribs (Kalbi) and rice with homemade vegetable side dishes (ban chan), including kimchi, daikon radish and mung bean sprouts. Can't wait for suppertime! All is made except the beef and rice, which won't take long at all.
It was! I like to make extra and use it on salads later. It freaks Becky out to have meat on a salad but I am a fan of salmon ceaser salads and other creative gastronomy.
Detoured into salmon patties and pan fried carrots and cabbage with yeast rolls and a salad for the quick Monday night fare.
