Going to try a honey mustard chicken with roasted potatoes tonight. I would like to make my own spicy mustard as well, but that takes a few days to mature. So tonight's sauce will be pre packaged.
Hot dinner here but hubby is doing a mixture of lamb and pork with a small yorkie pudding each, carrots, cauli, broccoli and roasters.
Have no idea yet ! Made bread today and hubby ate two and I ate one,,rolls that is,, that may be it for tonight !
Turkish bread for the bottom and then as a topping: Pesto, mozzarella cheese, onions, thinly sliced chook medallions, basil leaves and finally, a sprinkling of a balsamic fluid. It looked sort of like a huge, thick pizza. The whole thing was cooked in an oven. For desert it was vanilla+chocolate pudding with whipped cream and a mini bonbon on top. We were invited to eat an a former neighbour lady. It is always such fun to visit her or have her over.
Doing a sausage casserole with carrots, onions, chilli and garlic. I use veg stock from the veg that i cooked yesterday and turkey stock if I've got some. To go with it, potatoes, cabbage, peas and sprouts. Not homegrown, it's much easier to buy it fresh or frozen. Have trouble with slugs and snails so i don't bother much with veg. Do grow a lot of fruit though.
