We had Chateaubriand with lottie beans and potatos au gratin with ground truffel.

 

What sprouts ? Noticed that in several posts,, what are they ?

Sprouts refer to Brussels sprouts...at least that is what I mean when I use the term.

Yes we did but ate too much ! How was your Christmas ?

 

Our Christmas was nice. It was quiet and we spent with just us two. The piccy above was our Christmas supper. Christmas here is not quite as big as over there.

 

Tonight it's my Bride's World Famous Meatballs with broad beans and spekkies and spuds. yum-m-m-m-m-m-m

 

Same here ! Just us two but still cooked enough for half the county ! Lots of leftovers !

 

I wish that we could trade left-overs, Mart.

Tonight we are having our beans and parsnip purée along with Lincolnshire braadworst.

 

Well we had chicken and salad tonight for a change from hot meals.

 

We had chilli made with beef brisket, rice and tortilla chips with cheese. Yum!

 

@kazza it does look tasty and right up my hubbies street but it would murder me, I can only just manage Korma

 

It was very tasty. The brisket was is the slow cooker all day.

 

Steak used to buy steak and chops it up small, when I was able to eat but not no more.
