Mart, is that some sort of hot dog? Tonight, since it is very warm, and very muggy, we are having a fresh garden salad with bacon sprinkles and hard-boiled egg coarsely mashed, and crackers with Brie and Gouda cheeses. Need I say I may have planted a bit too much lettuces?
No,, not even close ! It is a small greasy link sausage eaten with crackers and hot sauce !! Its an East Texas thing ! Tonight its BBQ chicken and potato salad !
Friday is oven chips, 2 fried eggs and baked beans, my favourite and the boys will have some chips, they love them as well.
Sorry to not have chicken tonight with y'all. We had pork medallions with soubise sauce, and roasted sweet potatoes and cauliflower. We had hot rolls and accompanied the whole thing with a nice Zinfandel.
Woah Jane ! Well, I had to look those two up, didn’t I. Soubise sauce and rice Zinfandel. The soubise I know...but the rice Zinfandel, I am still unclear if this is rice with grapes or cut-up grape bits grape bits stirred through or rice cooked in Zinfandel wine. Either way, it sounds interesting.
