@Dirtmechanic I think I will stop by your place and pick up a few of those doughnuts. They seem to be occupying too much of your kitchen real estate. Mind you, they will be used for the local senior center, etc.
But of course! They can be mailed if you pm me. I will show you why... It turns out that my wife is such a yankee that her family has the original toll house cookie recipe, which (shh) is a bit more of a time, temp and humidity detail. I will send some of them as well.
Sounds good Odif fish goes well with spice, I have some fish with the Chilli and sausage casserole, hubby has the sausage.
Smoked paprika and boiled peanuts for football Saturday. I found out I can pressure cook dried raw peanuts for 4 or so hours and they really get close to the boiled green peanut high standard.
Tonight it's tomato and basil quiche with a chilled asparagus salad. Saturday dinners are usually very simple, unless it's a holiday. On Groundhog Day I usually serve pork sausage (ground hog?).
Tinned tomatoes on 2 slices of toast and a fried egg. Hubby has a sausage sandwich and egg sandwich but the bread is toasted. Don't cook on Saturdays because I go and see a friend of mine.
Chicken Merango with Italian bread. Can't let that lovely sauce go to waste, so we will be mopping our plates!
