Roast beef and Yorkshire pudding with the veg.

Pudding is sort of a trifle
Swiss roll sponge, some home grown loganberries

Strawberry Blancmange on top with ice cream or cream.but today it's ice cream
The Swiss roll had use by date the 11th of February this year but still fine.

 

Babi Pangang, chook in black bean sauce and bami. We ordered and then shared with each other.

We had loin chops in gravy, corn, baby lima beans and steamed broccoli.

Babi Pangang is pork strips with crispy skin is an Indonesian dish. The chicken in black bean sauce is a Chinese dish. The bami is thick noodles cooked with veg and meat bits.

Look what I found in the deep freezer!

 

Roast turkey out of the freezer with all the veg and Christmas pudding what I made last year with ice cream.

 

This will definitely warm our bellies for many a dinner.

From left to right. Habanero and cayenne pickled in vinegar. The shiny ones in the middle are sambal olek type and the last ones are sweet Thai chillie sauce.
