@Jewell thank you. White Roses are my favourite, as usual I can't recall their names :(. I like these two in particular because they grow multiple blooms on one stem, you only have to cut one stem to get a bouquet!!:chuckle:

What a great day out you had , lovely butterfly pics.

Jewell adored your charming and breathtaking butterfly pics. :smt041

@Oreti what a lucky outing to see Russel Page’s amazing Garden’s. Touring thru many well established gardens is the greatest learning tool available . Russel Page was a renowned English Artist / landscape designer of the mid 20th century.
There are so many beautiful and extremely popular gardens to tour every year. Thank goodness we have the opportunity to tour gardens around the world thru the eyes of YouTube.

Oh thank you so amazing to see . Adore parterre garden is a formal garden laid out on a level area and made up of enclosed beds, separated by gravel.
@Oreti you have included the formal parterre in your beautiful garden in so many different styles.

I have in my own way tried to mimic that garden idea. By making small vignettes or seperate lil rooms to sit , ponds and water features, small vignettes celebrating friends, animals and the birth of grandchildren. in a way of course not nearly exhibiting the formality of the French .

    Beautiful blooms @Jewell.
I do have some Lillies out but the larger ones are still in the budding up stage, so a few more weeks to wait .

Jewell The first thing that catches my eye is the lush green foliage that surrounds the flowers creating a serene atmosphere. As I see your flower pics I am greeted by a riot of colors - pinks, lime greens, a variety of different shades of green , yellow and yellow-gold.
Each flower is unique in its own way, but they all complement one another . That’s the beauty of sharing garden pictures .

In this sweltering heat, only plant that's doing really well, (aside from my chilies), is this one - Locally called Giloy, it's botanical name is Tinospora Cordifolia, while in rest of the world it's known as Heart-Leaved Moonseed.

It's said to have "amazing" health benefits according to traditional Indian Ayurvedic medicine, while Wikipedia clearly states that such tall claims haven't been scientifically proven anywhere in the world - So basically a load of nothing but hogwash, (scientifically speaking), as it has no known health benefits for human at any level. Even though in India they claimed that it can even defeat Covid-19...

    :snicker:

But it's a beautiful climbing vine, and believe it or not, it's growing at an astonishing rate of 4 to 7 inches a day!

That's why I got it, I need to cool down a certain area of my house that gets very hot during the day. So this plant is what's looking really good now in June. It really loves heat. And is very sturdy, (doesn't even require any special care).

Lettuce doing ok in the shade as they seem to wilt very quickly in the sunshine.
Tomatoes and Cucs have been slow to get going but are on the move now.

I was very pleased to see the Pasque Flower blooming this year after some issues with voles and deer for a few years. It's a wild flower from the prairies.
