Pics from today. Fern frond ready to open. Grapes are forming. Blackberries. Globe Allium The name is on the tip of my tongue.. any help to ID this is appreciated. .
Although we knew this one was on the way the poker blooms really opened up in our absence today A few new faces suddenly made themselves known while we were out for the day. So exciting at this time of year isn't it ...leave the garden to fend for itself for the day and come home to new arrivals!!
Logan very nice rose and hot poker blooms. Lovely white boom ? Hydrangea? So much fun sharing blooms.. it a whole new experience online especially in spring.
Oh my @Pacnorwest what super pics especially of the Fern unfurling . You've got me mixed up with Logan again haven't you.., the white bloom is a Hydrangea grown from a cutting that I took from my parents garden after they both passed away and the house was being sold.
Very special pics Pac. Very special indeed. Oreti— lovely surprises.were waiting for you. One little corner with the Wisteria and Clematis Mrs Cholmondeley.
Oh is that what’s in there , it’s such a dark pic I couldn’t tell what was there. The Fllowers had my attention I never noticed the water butt and wheelie. Any time I see wisteria with clematis at the same time it’s a timing of blooms at the same time that special.
That's a beautiful corner @Sjoerd , complimented by the additional water butt and wheelbarrow props!!! They all blend so perfectly together so well.
It is sort of an out-of-the-way/sight place, I was hoping that the colour would brighten it up a little. Folks usually do not get to see this place.
We have several areas like that Sjoerd everyone does I'm sure, but ours are no way as pretty as yours.....far from it !!!!
@Oreti that poker plant is great. I finally have a suitable area and only one start has come up. Guess I will have to keep trying. @Pacnorwest your wisteria is gorgeous. I got the hedge trimmers out so mine can no longer strangle me while on the riding lawnmower. @Sjoerd your vignette with the clematis, wisteria and potted plants is gorgeous. The wisteria is tucked into the far back corner of the property. Its gazebo is tilting. Today I cut it back with the hedge trimmer so I could maintain the fence line. A bad plant for me, since it is on a slope and an unsafe ladder area. it is definitely my nemesis at this point in time. Fortunately for the wisteria I have a lot of other projects ahead of it.
