In spring, I wear whatever I threw on that morning- jeans, tshirt, jacket or sweatshirt, coat, gloves, hat (I hate being chilled...). In summer, I throw on a tank top and shorts and crocs and Im set! Thats my fave thing about summer, getting dressed takes no time Um, wow, lukey...
Jewell I to found all the gardening attire fun to see. I to am a kindred spirit in gardening in my pj. Like you will walk out in the garden to enjoy the moring air and see what is blooming. The next thing I know it's noon, I need clean pj's again! If I am thinking ahead I will take off my slippers and don my rubber garden shoes. But of course not to often does that happen. I to have to keep an eye out for the neighbors. Like you said, they should have to wear a bell so you can hear them coming.
I wear a pair of old sweats and a old tee shirt.I also have on an apron that have a lot of front wide pockets,(the kind the waitresses wear at restaurants)to keep my pruners, gloves, cell phone, cookies and bottled water in. That way i don't have to walk back an forth getting gardening tools, and missing any important calls. And, i don't get hungry while i'm pulling weeds and mulching.
I never wear Crocs WITH socks. I like the un-lined ones with no holes at the toe, keeps dirt out if I kneel. Don't kneel as much as I usta but the tiniest chip of mulch can be a pest while gardening.
My crocs have holes, and yeah its really annoying getting anything in em. We sell crocs without holes at work so Im gonna buy a pair of those I wore an apron a few times, but it got so heavy with all the stuff I put in it I gave up lol. Too bad I couldnt keep my Home Depot apron when I left, those things are awsome!
Whatever I happen to be wearing (or not) at the time. The missus will at times get incensed. Bare foot gardening means a half full 5 gallon bucket near the door to wash the feet before I go in the house.
Lukey, where do you live, this I gotta see! My gardening outfit is like my usual wear--tasteful, immaculate, and designer. If you believe that, I want to sell you some manure! I wear jeans in winter with a sweatshirt or an old longsleeved shirt of my husband's with the sleeves rolled up. In spring and summer, it's shorts with a tee shirt (usually with a few holes where I snagged it on barbed wire) and all year round my slip-on Sloggers, which are like Crocs but no holes and cheaper. Luckily, all our neighbors are farmers, and when they stop by they usually look about the same as I do.
Shorts, t-shirts from the thrift store and crocs with socks. I need to get a pair of holeless crocs really getting tired of being stabbed by mulch. I can't wear jeans or long sleeve shirts to garden in the winter, my normal internal temperature is 99.5 and working in the yard makes me even hotter so it's shorts and t-shirts year round for me. AND I had to buy new shorts and shirts this spring, I have lost almost 2 sizes since last year and nothing fit.
HaHaHa That must look good Lukey I wander out in my PJs quite a lot in the morning to check things out. When I do get dressed, I wear old jeans and shorts, and my t shirts from my landscaping job. Always gotta have a hat on too.
old trousers and t shirt and an old pair of shoes . i get wet feet every time i have the watering can out as the shoes take in water
yeah i keep forgetting mine have holes, which means washing both feet and crocs after playing in the dirt. other than that typically shorts and my wide brimmed hat (which the wife hates  )
