Hi,I'm new on here, better with a spade than a computer! My favourite veg is the humble broad bean! Tasty, with a few new potatoes and a nob of butter, Makes all the work worth while.

My favorite vegetable is the Parsnip, roasted of course! It is a very difficult question really, as I love just about all vegetables!

I can't name just one. I'm one of those weird people who don't really care for fruit, but love love love veggies. So, I'd have to say; Peas are number 1. Freshly shelled while sitting in the garden. Next, Bok Choi and Mung Bean sprouts. Then Broccoli, then spinach. And even though it isn;t a veggie, let's not forget yummy mushrooms! :)

I would have to say mine is potatoes. they are very versatile and easy to grow. I can taste some now with some butter and a little chives and perhaps a splash of sour cream.

I think mine is summer squash - the straight-neck type. I like it fried, stewed, sauteed, baked, grilled, stuffed, and in casseroles!

Boy what a question to ask gardeners..I really love them all. Growing up I'd snag a cucumber out of my Dads garden and eat it on the buss. Some thought me weird. I really did not care.

Maybe the question should be... Is there anything you don't like? the only thing I can think of that I don't like and I won't eat is arugala. YUCK!
Today 5/9/11 I was in the greeenhouse and was thinking of this question and without a doubt it is a pepper variety called YUMMY. they are from Hungary and are by far the best peppers I have ever had. it's a small sweet orange pepper. Its name says it all.
