S-H looks brutal. Nice there are cooling centers . Many cities do the same in Summer heat. The state of Texas has had devastating tornados and hummers of thousands have no power for several weeks with temps in the 90’s-100F. They have set up cooling centers for many who have no power., Sending blessing your way. Stay safe.

Yes so am I @Logan !! We're suppose to be having thundery showers this afternoon and have even had a weather warning for thunderstorms since midday....it is a lot cloudier now but still dry. The rain is moving upwards and so far we have been sandwiched in a dry strip with rain either sides, but it looks hopeful that we could get some around 3am. I'm really banking on it to water in all the plants that I've been frantically planting out over the last week. Please, please.
It's now gotten so bad I swear, that even schools & collages in the province - Have decided to postpone exams, all because of this current heatwave, (which isn't showing any signs of ending)... This NEVER happened when I was a kid living here in this exact same place.
