I wish I could experience drizzle, as nowadays I'm only getting treated to a steady increase in temperature. You guys are very lucky, as you all get some water from the sky once in every week to 10 days - No such thing here, as I have to wait a whole year until monsoon season arrives. Never take your weather conditions for granted.

S-H… Sorry to hear no drizzles in your area of the world. We get way too much especially since extreme storms from global warming . If I could I would send a few storms your way. Then there is the other end of this delemma- I sometimes wonder what it would feel like during long cold winters - how nice the sun would feel like outside - just to soak up a bit of Vit-D.
Funny story, but during the late 80s and early 90s, (last few years when the internet still wasn't around) - I was obsessed with catching TV transmissions from neighboring countries. So I use to build all types of VHF & UHF antennas. And so I regularly caught receptions from India, and across the sea I also caught Oman, UAE, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia too. Signals of analog terrestrial TV transmissions from such a long distance away were always dependant on weather conditions. So sometimes I use to get excellent reception, while at other times, I could only see statics on the screen. But all of that changed when in 1992 we put up our own satellite dish antenna. So now we started to get uninterrupted 24 hours international TV channels, (like CNN & BBC World), and those too in perfect quality. Okay, now the funny part - Whenever I would watch the weather report of BBC, and they would point at the map of the world where I an residing. They would always say "fine sunny weather" over here at the southern coast of Pakistan... So this would make my blood boil! And you can already imagine how easy it is for a boy in his early teens to get triggered over little things... So I would say: FINE!? FINE!? FINE!? WHAT'S SO ℅∆#$ING FINE ABOUT GETTING ROASTED ALIVE HERE??? Don't these people know that if I'm not careful outside in my peak summer months, I could actually die from a heatstroke... Yet they think this is "fine sunny weather"??? My father who had spent some years of his youth in UK studying for his masters - Would now often laugh at seeing me boil in rage like this. He would say to me, son, you have to understand that their weather is completely different from ours. We here do whatever we can to avoid the sun, specially around midday - While these people feel blessed if they get just a few hours of uninterrupted sunshine. And sun over there isn't burning hot like it is over here. So please try and understand their mindset. As they are totally clueless about our conditions... I however said, that I now only wished I could grab these BBC weather presenters from their neck with one hand, slam the back of their heads against their blue screen over which they projected the weather. Then with the other hand give them a tight slap with full force. And just for good measure, another backhanded slap too from the same hand. Then pull them towards myself, only slam them back into the wall behind them, and repeat the whole process - Until they'd understand exactly how "fine" our sunny weather actually is over here... But then during the 2000s, I saw a man roaming about aimlessly on the street, who was clearly from the British Isles. However he didn't look normal to me. Because all his clothes were dripping wet with sweat, and by the way he was walking - I felt like he wasn't in his senses... Luckily for him, a cop was watching him also, so I said to the cop, that it looks like this man is experiencing a heatstroke or something. Cop agreed and started walking towards him. But before he even got to the guy, that poor man collapsed on the footpath... I was almost sure he must have died, but people (along with that cop) rushed towards him for assistance. Nearby was the Marriott hotel, where the gardener was watering the grass with a hosepipe. So everybody poured water on him, and fortunately he woke up. Turned out he was staying at this very hotel, so he was immediately taken inside where he promptly got medical attention. I felt so bad for him I swear... But was also thankful that he didn't die. So since that day I stopped holding the resentment I use to carry for all the people, specially BBC weather presenters - Who just couldn't grasp my weather conditions.
